  1. Am I required to provide Chill Campers with my auto insurance policy number & drivers licence number?

    • Yes

  2. Size of the interior of fridge?

    • H 22”

    • W 14”

    • D 11”

  3. Can adults sleep on the bunks beds?

    • Yes, however they are designed for children, so we would request to take it easy on them

  4. Does the boler have batteries, do we need a generator?

    • Yes to both. The batteries are designed to run the fridge and lights for roughly 2 days before in need of charging. Using the inverter for the electrical plugs, and whatever you have plugged into them, can reduce that time. The is a battery monitor that shows the current level of battery life in each boler

    • A generator is available as part if your rental, along with an extension cord, so the generator can be put a fair distance away, to help offset the bit of noise it makes

  5. What is the size of the bolers?

    • Each boler is 10ft in length on the inside, and from trailer tongue, to back of boler is 13ft.

  6. Weight of the bolers?

    • Roughly 1200-1300 pounds

  7. Do you deliver?

    • Not currently.

  8. Do you provide the hitch and ball, what size?

    • Yes. We can provide the proper hitch and 2” hitch ball if required

  9. How do I get a hitch put on?

    • This needs to be on your vehicle either at time of manufacture, or installed by a professional on your vehicle. Chill Campers will not be responsible for any losses to your person vehicle, due to a failure from improper structure on a vehicle

  10. Can my car pull the boler?

    • It is up to you to figure out if your vehicle is capable to haul one of our campers. Typically, car should not be used to tow a camper, and carrying capacity needs to be proven during pickup, to ensure a safe journey

  11. Room for storage?

    • Depending on the add-ons you chose (if any), will determine how much storage is available. There are storage compartments under each interior bench for person belongings, however those may be used for sleeping bags or other add-ons

  12. Where does the water go from the sink?

    • The water drains directly on the ground, behind the axle of the camper. You’ll need to keep this in mind if using the sink for washing

  13. How long do the batteries last for?

    • They are designed to last roughly for 2 days running the fridge and lights. Use of the inverter and inside plugs may reduce this significantly

  15. Where do we pick up and drop off the boler?

    • All pickups and drop-offs happen at the Ghost Lake Recreational Storage Yard

  16. Do I have to do a walk through at pick up?

    • Yes. We will make sure you are comfortable with how your boler functions prior to you starting your camping journey, and will provide you with a contact number in case of any questions

  17. Is there a spare tire?

    • Yes, it is mounted on the back of the boler

  18. Am I able do go out of country?

    • No, Travel is currently limited to Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan

  19. Is there a back up camera?

    • No

  20. Is the generator loud?

    • It sounds like a lawn mower a few houses away. The 50’ extension cord should help put the generator some distance away to help mitigate noise

  21. Is the water tank full when I pick it up?

    • Yes, the water tank will be full at time of pickup

  22. Can I charge my cell phone at night?

    • Yes, keep in mind this will use the battery power quicker, therefore for best results have the generator charging for best results

  23. Will I be charged if I am running late for drop off?

    • Yes, please refer to the rental agreement for greater detail
